About Me
As a mother of three, I know how tough pregnancy can be. From nausea in the first trimester to pelvic and back pain in the last few months of pregnancy, being pregnant is no cakewalk for most women. Surprisingly, although many prescription drugs are off-limits during pregnancy, there are several drugs that are considered safe while pregnant. However, if you'd like to avoid the use of medication to treat common pregnancy complaints, there are natural treatment options you can try. I started this blog to share my personal experience of using alternative treatments, including massage, physiotherapy, diet modification and acupuncture, in all three of my pregnancies. I also document current research on the use of holistic therapies in pregnancy. I hope you find my blog posts interesting, and I'd love to hear what you've found helpful to ease those pregnancy aches and pains.
